This new fabrication and maintenance facility for the WY Forestry Division was designed to replace and modernize their existing facility. WYFD uses the facility to build fire trucks for rural fire districts by converting military vehicles into tankers or brush trucks. The facility also provides maintenance for rural fire district trucks. This facility is built as tough as the trucks that are created inside of it and includes a fabrication floor with a hoist crane, vehicle lifts, vehicle exhaust system, wash bay, and a state-of-the-art paint booth. The fabrication area is heated with an in-floor radiant heating system supplied by high efficiency condensing boilers. The fabrication area also includes a custom energy recovery unit with evaporative cooling to provide ventilation.
